Ticket properties
how do i manage ticket properties? tickets can have one or more properties that store specific information for each ticket unlike custom ticket fields, these properties are not initialized when a ticket is added to a cart, so they retain their assigned value for example, you can use these properties to store a unique code for each ticket, such as a mobility code that provides a discount for public transport ticket properties can be displayed on ticket layouts and in order confirmations, and are also usable in filters and reports would you like to use ticket properties? please mailto\ support\@ticketmatic com for assistance with the initial setup and creation of these properties managing ticket properties after your ticket property has been set up (by support), you can add or update values in the event tab select the event for which you want to update ticket properties and click the ticket properties tab you’ll see a list of all tickets for the event, along with their respective property values you can filter this list using the filters on the left and select the tickets for which you want to update one or more properties click the edit properties button to open a dialog with the following options select the property you want to update and choose from the following three actions specify a single value update the property with the same value for all selected tickets upload a list of codes assign a unique value to each selected ticket remove property values remove the property value for all selected tickets if you choose to upload a list of codes, a text box will appear where you can paste a list of codes, one code per line make sure you have as many codes as selected tickets when applying, tickets are sorted by id, so the ticket with the lowest id receives the first code you entered click next to continue you will receive a confirmation of the action to be performed click confirm to execute the update contact support if you want to add these ticket properties to a ticket layout or order email it is also possible to add filters so you can see which events and tickets have already been assigned a ticket property
