Scanning specific sections or contingents

how do i set up my scanner so that only certain tickets can be scanned? the scanning app allows you to scan tickets only for specific contingents or sections examples when you have a space at an event that is only accessible for tickets purchased from the vip contingent when you have a venue with multiple sections, such as stalls, balcony, boxes, etc setting up the scanner for a specific contingent or section open the scanning app, sync the event you want to scan for, and tap the gear icon at the top right then select settings go to allowed ticket types and then choose the section(s) or contingent(s) you want to allow scanning for in this way, tickets from other sections or contingents will display an error message when scanned this setting only applies to the current scanner other scanners will still be able to scan all tickets
